新年のご挨拶
令和7年度 一般財団法人日本抜刀道連盟

謹賀新年
新年を迎え、謹んでご挨拶を申し上げます。
当連盟では、毎年7月に東京大会、10月に全国大会と年2回の大会を実施しております。本年1月13日には、「第1回抜刀道ワールド大会」を新しく加えて、年に3回の大会を連盟事業といたします。さらに、2027年3月には台湾台南市(台南武徳殿)に於いて、第1回世界大会を予定しています。このように競技色が一段と強まりますが、基本は日本武道精神を軸とした、抜刀道の世界的拡大と伝承だと考えています。
本年も皆様のご理解とご協力により更なる飛躍と、自己のレベルアップを図ると共に、本年も良い年でありますようお祈り申し上げます。

恭賀新禧
迎接新的一年，在此向各位問候。
本聯盟、每年於7月舉行東京大會，於10月舉行全國大會，年度內辦了兩次大會。
而今年的1月13日，新增加了「第一屆拔刀道世界大賽」，將以每年辦3次大賽做爲聯盟事業目標。
此外，還預定於2027年3月在台灣台南市（台南武德殿）舉行第1屆世界大會。
雖然這樣競技的色彩更加一層濃厚，但我認爲其基本是以日本武道精神爲軸心，將拔刀道的世界性擴大、並得以傳承。
希望今年也能在大家的理解和協助之下，而得到進一步的飛躍，更一起謀求自我水準之提升，同時也希望今年也度過美好的一年。

New Year’s greetings from Shigeru Sugano, President of the Japan Battodo Federation for the year 2025.
Happy New Year!
We wish you a Happy New Year and best wishes for the New Year.
Our federation has held two tournaments a year, the Tokyo Tournament in July and the National Tournament in October every year. On 13 January this year, we will newly add the 1st Battodo World Tournament to our federation’s programme of three tournaments a year. Furthermore, the 1st overseas World BattodoTournament is scheduled for March 2027 in Tainan City, Taiwan (Tainan Budokuden). In this way, the competition element will become stronger, but we believe that the basis is the global expansion and transmission of Battōdō based on the spirit of Japanese martial arts.
With your understanding and cooperation, we hope to make a further leap forward and improve our own level and wish you a happy new year as well.

Neujahrsgrüße von Shigeru Sugano, Präsident des Japanischen Battodo-Verbandes für das Jahr 2025.
Frohes neues Jahr!
Wir wünschen Ihnen ein frohes neues Jahr und die besten Wünsche für das neue Jahr.
Unser Verband veranstaltet jedes Jahr zwei Turniere, das Tokio-Turnier im Juli und das nationale Turnier im Oktober. Am 13. Januar dieses Jahres werden wir das 1. Battodo-Weltturnier neu in das Programm unseres Verbandes von drei Turnieren pro Jahr aufnehmen. Außerdem ist das 1. Battodo-Weltturnier in Übersee für März 2027 in Tainan City, Taiwan (Tainan Budokuden) geplant. Auf diese Weise wird das Wettkampfelement gestärkt, aber wir glauben, dass die Grundlage die globale Ausbreitung und Weitergabe des Battōdō auf der Grundlage des Geistes der japanischen Kampfkünste ist.
Mit Ihrem Verständnis und Ihrer Mitarbeit hoffen wir, einen weiteren Sprung nach vorne zu machen und unser eigenes Niveau zu verbessern, und wünschen Ihnen ebenfalls ein frohes neues Jahr.
